Effective Parenting

Many things have been written about effective parenting.

The Internet lists nearly 2 million sites that deal with parenting from books to articles, e-zines, handouts, workshops, tips, skills, classes, training, manuals, centers, groups, chat room and blogs, just to name a few!

There you have it from "soup to nuts". Definitely an overload of information from a wide variety of sources.

So what makes this site any different you might ask yourself.

Parenting is a relational action. It teaches one's offspring

* right from wrong

* provides them with a valid value system

* instills correct behavior

* sets age appropriate boundaries for them

* models religious and moral beliefs

* develops their character

In order for this process to succeed it must be effective.

By this we mean that parents must see, hear and witness the results and application of their teachings in the daily lives of their sons and daughters.
